I have had this dinnerware set for over five years and have not had any problems using them. They are so beautiful. I have washed them in the dish washer repeatedly without any problem what so ever. I first saw the regular Greetings, with the painted birds for summer, spring, etc. and wanted them. But by the time I had decided, they were discontinued. They were pastels in pinks and blues. But the Christmas set is really more beautiful and I try to use them everyday in December and January………or anytime during the winter that I want to add style!!

I am so glad that I bought this identical set in late 2005, when Amazon was offering it at a special price. I only paid 60 and am very pleased with it. I admit to being partial to anything bird related, Especially CARDINALS, plus I have had nothing but good experiences with the Lenox brand. The reviewer who rated it at low quality must have gotten a lemon set. This is Quality dinnerware.

I sent 2 sets of this to my mother for next year-she loves it! It will make a beautiful addition to her table in the fall and winter and the price could NOT be beat. I am very pleased with my purchase. Amazon rocks!

Eventhough it’s made by Lenox, it’s not the high quality you expect from the brand. The dishes feel like inexpensive painted stoneware. There are obvious paint splotches on the cup handles that chip right out of the box. For the price it’s good for everyday holiday use…
